NLE Lab

The Natural Language Engineering (NLE) Lab is part of the research group on Pattern Recognition and Human Language Technologies (PRHLT) Research Center, Universitat Politècnica de València (Technical University of Valencia), Spain. The research activities of the NLE Lab are mainly focused on the following Natural Language Processing and Information Retrieval related topics:

  • Plagiarism detection (mono / cross-language, text / source code)
  • Figurative language processing in social media (humour recognition and irony detection)
  • Short texts analysis
  • Question answering
