International Workshop on Experiences and Empirical Studies in Software Modelling

EESSMod 2013

Miami, Florida - USA, October 1, 2013

In conjunction with the ACM/IEEE 16th International Conference on
Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems (MODELS 2013)
Miami, Florida - USA, September 29 - October 4, 2013
Target audience

The intended audience is software professionals interested in modelling and researchers in software modelling.

Relevance to the Field

A majority of papers published at the MODELS conference proposes new approaches to modelling. To improve the impact in practice we need to better understand the current practices and the effectiveness of existing modelling approaches. There is a growing interest in empirical studies in the Software Engineering community at large and in the MODELS community specifically. This workshop aims to cater as a venue for sharing results, experiences, and as a platform for planning joint studies.
