Tentatively, the Workshop-programme (full day) is as follows:

• Introduction to workshop.
   
• A keynote speech by a recognized researcher in the field.
   
• Presentation of selected papers followed by limited discussion.
   
• The organization of the workshop participants around thematic groups.
   
• Reports from the groups and plenary discussion of main issues.
   
• Discussion of how to continue the work.

  The outcome of the workshop is a collection of papers as well as a presentation and discussion of the validity and significance of these papers. We plan to contact key HCI/SE journals about their willingness to produce a special issue on the interplay between usability evaluation and software development based on the best papers from the workshop
