Welcome to Valencia!

Universitat Politècnica de València

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) is a public, dynamic and innovative institution that is dedicated to researching and teaching. The UPV maintains strong bonds with its social environment and a strong presence abroad.


At the Universitat Politècnica de València, coexistence is part of an educational endeavour where students and teachers alike, from our five campus sites (Vera, Blasco Ibañez, Alcoy, Ganía and Xátiva), actively take part.

Currently, the university community is made up of over 42.000 people. Of these, nearly 37.800 are students, 2.600 are members of the teaching and research staff and 1.700 are administrative and services personnel. UPV is composed of 10 schools, 3 faculties and 2 higher polytechnic schools.


Venue of the school

The school takes place in the Departament de Sistemes Informàtics i Computació, building 1F of the UPV (PDF file). Classes will take place in seminar rooms OS01 and OS03. Tram and bus stops are located at Avenida de los Naranjos Avenue. Please, consult prices and timetables for tram/subway and for bus
