  CAEPIA 2007 Workshop on

 Planning, Scheduling and Constraint Satisfaction

CAEPIA 2007
November, 13, 2007

Salamanca, España

This workshop continues the trail of previous editions at  IBERAMIA, CAEPIA, ECAI, ICAPS Workshop on Constraint Satisfaction, Planning and Scheduling.

The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum for researchers in the field of Artificial Intelligence to discuss novel issues on planning, scheduling, constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) and related fields. The areas of AI planning and scheduling have seen important advances thanks to the application of constraint satisfaction models and techniques. Most real-world problems are typically known as highly coupled planning and scheduling problems, where resources must be allocated so as to optimise overall performance objectives. To this end, the workshop will present to the assistants selected papers from the above areas. Submissions on work in some way combining planning and scheduling with constraint satisfaction are particularly encouraged.

This will provide a broader audience to the workshop and give the participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and approaches that lead to a valuable and fruitful discussion, and inspire forthcoming research. The workshop would be divided into two steps: technical papers and a Panel session.

NOTE: Selected papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing (indexed in JCR-SCI)

Awards and Grants: There exist some grants offered by the organization. More information in [pdf]
