Call for Paper

We strongly encourage participation both from academics and from practitioners involved in modelling and solving problems with constraints.

We invite submissions on any topic relevant to the workshop. This include but is not limited to:

  • Integration of Planning and Scheduling
  • Scheduling and Constraint Satisfaction Problems (CSPs)
  • Temporal Planning and Planning with resources
  • Temporal CSPs
  • Adaptative Planning and Scheduling
  • knowledge engineering
  • real-life applications

    • A joint special volume under the series FRONTIERS IN ARTIFICICAL INTELLIGENCE AND APPLICATIONS entitled PLANNING AND SCHEDULING and edited by IOS PRESS will be published with the accepted papers to both this workshop and to the ECAI 2004 Workshop on Planning and Scheduling: Bridging Theory to Practice. To submit a paper to the workshop, please email a postscript or PDF file, in the STAIRS 2004 official style. Papers can be of any length but should not exceed 10 pages.

     

    IMPORTANT DATES

    Submission deadline: 30 April 2004 (EXTENDED)

    Notification date: 24 May 2004

    Final date for camera-ready copy: 7 June 2004

    Submit to: Miguel A. Salido no later than June 7, 2004 using the subject line "ECAI-04 Camera Ready

    All workshop participants are expected to register for the main ECAI 2004 conference. Accepted papers will be included in the workshop proceedings and in a joint special volume under the series FRONTIERS IN ARTIFICICAL INTELLIGENCE AND APPLICATIONS.
