PSCS'08: IBERAMIA 2008 Workshop on Planning, Scheduling and Constraint Satisfaction

Call for PaperWe strongly encourage participation both from academics and from practitioners involved in modelling and solving planning and scheduling problems with constraints. We invite submissions on any topic relevant to the workshop. This includes but is not limited to: .- Planning (temporal planning, multi-criteria planning, planning with resources, etc.) .- Scheduling .- Logistic .- Heuristic search techniques and algorithms. Meta-heuristic search. .- Optimal and suboptimal search. Practical applications of search. .- Temporal CSPs. .- Integration of planning and scheduling (from both perspectives.) .- Adaptative planning and scheduling. .- Timetabling .- Transportation .- Optimization & multiple objectives. .- Dynamic Scheduling .- Distributed/multi-agent planning & scheduling. .- Vehicle routing problems .- Real-world Applications Papers must be prepared according to the LNCS-LNAI style template and must be no more than ten (10) pages long, including figures and bibliography. Papers must be in PDF format and should be submitted via email to Miguel A. Salido (msalido@dsic.upv.es). Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two members of the Program Committee. Accepted papers will be included in the workshop notes. NOTE: Selected papers will be published in the journal "Inteligencia Artificial. Contributions to a special Work-In-Progress (WIP) session of PSCS'08 are being sought. The PSCS'08 WIP session will be devoted to the presentation of new and on-going works in planning, scheduling and constraint satisfaction research and applications. We are especially interested in new and creative ideas and approaches. Contributors to the WIP session will be asked to give a short presentation of their work (5-7 pages). Accepted submissions will be included in the proceedings of the workshop. Submissions to PSCS'08 WIP must be prepared according to the LNCS-LNAI style template and must be no more than seven (7) pages long, including figures and bibliography.
