Multibiometrics for Face Recognition
This talk will be concerned with techniques for combining multiple information sources for improving the accuracy and flexibility of face recognition systems. In particular techniques combining multiple parts of the faces, multiple samples and multiple algorithms will be considered. 2D and 3D facial data as well as features extracted from skin texture are evaluated as sources of identity information. The effectiveness of these approaches in the context of a major EU integrated project - 3D Face - will be discussed.Farzin was born in Tehran, Iran, in the winter of 1960.
